First off, I have three new sleeveless tops from the Ann Taylor Loft. The summer prints were all so cute, but I decided on three comfy tank tops that could double as both day wear and sleep wear. They are all so soft, and I've been wearing them almost everyday this summer.
Next, I have two pairs of comfy sleep/at home shorts from Pink. I love how comfortable the clothes from Pink are (but not the price), so when I saw the great sale price, I had to get these shorts in both colors. I love everything about these shorts from their extremely loose fit to their fleecy soft material.
Lastly, I have my purchases from Bath & Body Works. Their famous semi-annual sales always involve a trip to the store, and usually a big bag full of purchases on the way out. In my house, we use Wallflowers, scent plug-in's, in almost every room, so we like to stock up during these semi-annual sales. I was looking for some summer scents, so I chose a set in Tiki Beach, a tropical island blend of toasted coconut, vanilla musk and purple orchids infused with sugared berries, another set in Renew and Refresh, a blend of jasmine, fresh air and a touch of mint, and lastly a single bulb in Black Sands, an unforgettable blend of ocean mist and exotic amber finished with creamy cedarwood. However my favorite summer scent is their newly released scent, Sky. Sky smells very similar to another favorite of mine from Bath & Body Works, Country Chic; however, Sky is described to have top notes of pomelo, pink pepper, and sparkling bergamot juice, mid notes of honeysuckle, fresh violet blooms, gardenia water, and whipped lily petals, and dry notes of sheer sandalwood, white amber, and sensual musks. I love showering with the body wash and then layering the body lotion on top for a light, refreshing scent.
Have you made any summer purchases recently? Are there any type of posts that you would like to see on my blog this summer?
