A California Fall Lookbook Part Two | Fall Floral

I find floral a hard print to incorporate after spring and summer. However, a nice blend of autumn colors can lend a hand in cozying up some flowery attire. For this outfit, my cousin is wearing a light oatmeal sweater from Liz Claiborne, a maroon floral skirt thrifted from Goodwill, and Nicole ankle boots from DSW. The rolled up sleeves with the loose sweater add a casual feel to the outfit and make it perfect to wear to school or out on the weekends. The maroon colored skirt and the black ankle boots are the perfect additions to this California fall outfit.

How do you incorporate floral into fall outfits?

  1. Lovely way of transitioning floral - change the colours, not the pattern!

    1. Thanks Rebecca! I have to say my cousin Nicole was the stylist in this case, and I'm surprised how she found such a cute find at Goodwill.

    1. Thank you! The pastel jumper really does pair well with the darker floral skirt :)

  3. Love the sweater! The floral skirt is nice because it's a 'pop' rather than a full on floral assault. (Though I do have to laugh, because I'd never be able to wear a skirt in Canada during autumn. Well, at least sans-tights anyways)
